The File menu contains functions to load, save, and print files and data. The File menu offers the following commands:
 

New	Creates a new file.
Open	Opens an existing document.
Open Recent	This option (activated in the Preferences dialog), lets you quickly access your most recently used experiment files.
Save	Saves the current document using the existing file name.
Save As...	Saves the current document to a specified file name.
LabQuest Browser	Opens the LabQuest Browser, which can be used to transfer files between LabQuest and Logger Pro.
Import From
	TI Device... imports data from Texas Instruments graphing calculators.
	LabPro... imports data from Vernier LabPro using a serial or USB cable.
	Text File... imports a text file into columns of data.
	InspireData (CSV)... imports data from an InspireData or Comma Separated Value (CSV) file into columns of data.
	Data Pro... imports data from a Palm device collected with the Data Pro program.
	Logger Pro File... imports only the data set and column information from an existing Logger Pro file.
Export as...
Text	Exports current document as columns of tab-delimited data.
GIS Format	Exports current document as columns in GIS format.
Google Maps	See a Google Maps display with all their data points annotated with collected values.
InspireData (CSV)	Exports current document as a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file.
Page Setup...	Opens the page setup dialog box for the current printer.
Printing Options...	Identifying text and date/time can be added to printouts.
Print Preview	In this view, you can check the layout of the document before printing.
Print...	Prints the current document.
Print Data Table	Prints complete columns of data from a table object or objects.
Print Graph	Prints only the graph (or graphs) from your page.
Preferences	Use this command to set the preferences for Logger Pro
Settings for File	Change settings that pertain to the operation of a particular file.
Exit	Exits Logger Pro
